Scott Beck is the owner and principal surveyor of Becksight Land Surveying, LLC, with over 14 years of experience across nearly every discipline in the profession, including boundary surveying, GIS, aerial survey, GNSS/GPS, and LiDAR.

His background spans private surveying firms, utility companies, and the Connecticut Department of Transportation, where he led efforts to update statewide survey manuals and standards, including guidance on modern survey technology and regulatory updates. He now brings that depth of technical and regulatory knowledge directly to residential and commercial clients across Connecticut.

He approaches every project as a careful fact-finder, committed to thorough research and objective evaluation of all available evidence to accurately resolve land boundaries. His work includes recorded property maps, land surveys for private and municipal clients, and the establishment of a Connecticut–Massachusetts state line monument.

Scott holds a master's degree in Applied Meteorology and is a Part 107-certified UAS pilot, offering aerial imagery and surface modeling for projects of all sizes. He brings the same standard of precision to residential boundary work as he does to large-scale projects.

Scott is a member and serves on the board of the Connecticut Association of Land Surveyors. Becksight serves clients statewide throughout Connecticut.
